When was the work done?
The recent work was done for me about a week ago.

What was involved?
I have a new puppy and there was a drain outside my back door with stones and muck. The puppy is a terrier and she kept digging the whole thing up. I texted Bernardo on a Sunday and he rang me back straightaway. He came over on the Monday, measured up the job, and it was all done and dusted on the Tuesday by 3:30.

How did you choose PCG Services?
Well, I've been using them for years. They initially came to power wash my patio because I had a guy that did it and I wasn't happy with the job. I'm trying to remember how I heard about him originally, but it's escaping me now. I've been using him for a long time, back before his company got big. I always had him in my phone.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to PCG Services?
Well, I discussed the problem with Bernardo. I had seen a path laid by a neighbor that had this little drain at the side. Bernardo got exactly what I meant, and he immediately brought up a photo and said he could do it in plastic or aluminum or in a state of the art material. I didn't want plastic, and I didn't really need state of the art because it's a small garden so I went for the aluminium one. He got exactly what I meant, and he did it straight away and very professionally.

How did the project run?
Good. What they did was they power washed my patio and then they took out all the stones and the muck. Bernardo didn't know this, but underneath the muck, there was actually concrete. We assumed it was going to be like a drain of some sort going into the shore, so they had to go and get proper circular concrete saws and saw up all the concrete, and then lay in the drain so that it fits flush to my patio and then put an aluminum top over it. It was a lot more work, I think, than they were expecting, but they did a very good job.

They were very neat and tidy. They cleaned up all the back, they swept it all, they power washed it. They also power washed a couple of benches. They mopped all the way out to the front door and they laid down stuff to protect to my kitchen. They just did a really good job.

They came at nine o'clock in the morning and then they worked away all day until about half three. There was no sitting at the kitchen table having mugs of tea or anything like that, they just worked away all day.

I called Bernardo when they were finished and said to him that your guys did a great job. He said that I know they did because they sent me pictures!

What was the biggest benefit to you of using PCG Services?
I know I'm going to get a really good job done. There's not much point in paying somebody who's going to do a sloppy job. Also, I know it wasn't a big job for him, but still, he came back to me immediately.

Would you recommend PCG Services to others?
Yes, I just find him very good, very professional, and as I said, he comes back to me incredibly quickly. They always seem to do a very good job.
